One sunny afternoon in Pumpkin Patch Valley, Baby Lion found a shiny stick on the ground.

It sparkled.
It blinked.

It said:
✨ IMPORTANT PUMPKIN PLANS ✨

Baby Lion gasped
“Treasure!!!”

Tiny Wizard leaned closer.
“Why is it just… lying here?”

Professor Elk squinted.
“Maybe it belongs to the museum!”

Baby Deer said,
“Maybe… it belongs to trouble.”

Just then, the Squirrel Admins fell out of a tree yelling,
“NOOOOOOO DON’T PLUG RANDOM STICKS!!!”

Baby Lion froze.
“Why not? It says IMPORTANT.”

Tiny Wizard poked it with a twig.
“Important to who?”

The squirrels explained:
“Bad raccoons sometimes leave magic sticks.
When you plug them in… they steal your pumpkins.”

Professor Elk gasped,
“Pumpkin thieves 😭”

So they carried the stick to the Mosswood Safety Table.
The Squirrel Admins opened it safely inside a glass jar.

Inside was… nothing useful.

Just sneaky worms that tried to crawl into the Walnut Server Trees.

Tiny Wizard shuddered.
“That was not treasure.”

Baby Deer nodded.
“Curiosity is good. Plugging random things is not.”

So Pumpkin Patch Valley made a new rule:

If you didn’t find it at home, don’t plug it in.

And the squirrels hung a sign by every glowing door:

Ask before you plug.

That night the pumpkins glowed brighter.

Because Pumpkin Patch Valley learned something important:

Not every shiny thing is a gift.
Some are traps.
