One very busy week in Pumpkin Patch Valley, Baby Lion was everywhere.
Building pumpkin carts.
Running the ice cream stand.
Counting mango coins.
Teaching Tiny Wizard spells.
Fixing Professor Elk’s fossils.
Baby Lion didn’t sleep.
Baby Lion didn’t eat.
Baby Lion kept roaring,
“SHIP IT!!! JUST ONE MORE THING!!!”
The pumpkins stopped glowing.
Tiny Wizard asked softly,
“Why is Baby Lion so quiet?”
Baby Deer found Baby Lion asleep in pumpkin leaves, still holding a wrench.
The Hedgehog Banker whispered,
“He worked past his runway.”
Professor Elk cried,
“But we need him 😭”
Baby Deer shook their head gently.
“We need him… rested.”
So Pumpkin Patch Valley did something new.
Tiny Wizard watered the pumpkins.
Professor Elk labeled fossils slowly.
The Squirrel Admins fixed logs quietly.
The Hedgehog Banker closed Mango Market early.
Baby Deer sat beside Baby Lion and said,
“Builders are not machines.”
When Baby Lion woke up, the valley was calm.
The pumpkins were safe.
Nothing had burned down.
Baby Lion whispered,
“I thought everything would break if I stopped.”
Baby Deer smiled.
“Everything breaks if you don’t.”
So Baby Lion hung a sign over his workshop:
Rest Is Part of Building.
That night the pumpkins glowed brighter.
Because Pumpkin Patch Valley learned something important:
Fast builders need slow days.
